Collateral Damage

It saddens me to say that the continued disregard for Mary's decision to remove her blog has necessitated the removal also of both Letters of Grace and Days of Grace.  This was not the plan.  Letters of Grace was not going to be removed.  Unfortunately, when people chose to use technology to steal and load information to other sites, there was only one option left available, and Letters of Grace is officially collateral damage.  I don't know what the future holds, or in what format Letters of Grace will return, or when.  Honestly, I am going to have to think long and hard about blogging in general.  After seeing what Mary has gone through, and seeing the attitude of entitlement some seem to have, it does not encourage me to want to share.  I want to apologize to all of you out there who had nothing to do with this situation, but are also suffering the consequences of those who were selfish.  I cannot express how much my heart breaks that Letters of Grace had to be deleted.  I do hope that there will be a time when it can be put up again, but considering the hours it took to create the site, it will need time, and some rethinking.

NOTE:  I do not have plans at this time to remove this blog :)  Just wanted to reassure everyone of that, as there has been a flurry of downloads from here.

I'm sad and a bit angry that so many will miss out on this wonderful information due to the selfish actions of some. My prayers are with you and Mary.

I really don't know the full story here, but I am saddened that I won't be able to access Letters of Grace, after all of the hard work that was put into it. Any chance you'd consider selling the curriculum as a downloadable e-course? I'd be interested in purchasing, if so.

I echo Xenia Kathryn's interest in purchasing Letters of Grace as a download. This is the curriculum I was using with my children. I am so very sorry to see all the hard work and time go to waste because of the actions of a few. I will be sure to pray for all involved.

We certainly hope to have it available. There was no way to remove all of the evlogia content without deleting the entire typepad account, which contained the other blogs. As the dust settles, we hope to talk about plans for how we can make the Letters of Grace available in the future! I will be sure to keep you updated :)

Anna,

There is no need to apologize for the actions taken. The entire situation is disheartening. I'm so sorry for the pain you, Mary, Mat. Emily, and your families are feeling. I wish there were comforting words I could offer. My prayers are with all of you.

With much love in Christ,
leah

My children are too old for Letters of Grace, so I've pretty much been watching from the sidelines. But, for other's I hope that everything isn't lost and that you and Mary can take a deep breath and make decisions w/out the pressure of time.

Prayers for you both.

Please pass along my regrets, I just logged on this morning to thank her for the tutorial on decorating the festal icons. Our Parish will be celebrating our first feast day this week and I am so excited to present a beautiful board for the decoration of all our festal icons. I imagine Christ felt much the same way as people took his words and twisted them for their own gratification. Lord have Mercy!

I feel so saddened for all of you. Each of you worked so hard to prepare those materials. Your time and efforts are greatly appreciated, and I hope you will be able to share them again at the right time.

I can't imagine your pain! I am SOOO sorry to hear about it all. Now I'll have to create a preschool program:( since yours has been erased. Do you mind sharing what resources you used to find the science experiments you used for Letters of Grace?
