History Studies

thousands of little metallic squares....

posterboard, pen and overhead projector to create outline....

glue sticks and much patience...

Not exactly the Hagia Sophia, but a satisfying project all the same!

They're beautiful!!! What a great idea! By the way I "stole" your fruit smoothie idea and have Nathaniel fooled into believing they're milkshakes!! Haha!!

Oh darn, Oriental Trading Co. is out of stock on the paper. I think I could substitute something else they have listed.

Very nice! The boys did a mosaic project in art class this week using painted lentils. It works really well and is really pretty!

I was just talking this morning with a fellow parishioner about starting to plan vacation church school for this summer. I loved the Celtic saints week you did last year, and wondered if there are any plans available for it beyond what you posted each day? (Or any plans for sharing them?) Thanks!
I didn't see a place to email you so am just leaving this as a comment. My email address, should you wish to contact me, is zephyrlily7 at yahoo dot com.

I do have plans for sharing the vcs project, just taking some time to organize it so someone else can follow them :) I emailed you Rebecca.
